Strawberry Compote

Ingredients

  • 1 lb strawberries
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Hull and chop strawberries.
  • Add to a pot with the sugar and water.
  • Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Continue cooking until strawberry sauce has thickened enough to coat a spoon or until desired consistency is reached.
  • Optional: puree strawberries if you want a smooth consistency. Leave chunky if you want some texture or have a large boba straw.
