The Ultimate Fall Bucket List for Sacramento
Eek! It’s finally Fall and the City of Trees is truly living up to its moniker. The leaves are starting to change and the air is starting to cool. The smell of pumpkin spice drifting in the wind. PSLs aside, Autumn is in my humble opinion the BEST time of year to live in or visit Sacramento. Now, with that in mind, here is a list of some fantastic things to check off your fall bucket list.
Apple Hill
Need I say more?
Whether you go to the petting zoo, apple picking, to a brewery or simply picnic under the apple trees you absolutely must grab a few apple cider donuts at Rainbow Orchards and enjoy a hard cider.
Pick a Pumpkin at Elk Grove Giant Pumpkin Festival
Held during the first weekend in October, this event attracts about 50,000 people a year. If you have little ones, this spot can’t be beat.
Dave’s Haunted Corn Maze
Only October 25th and 26th, can you enjoy a frightful night at this well-known corn maze. Vierra Farms also offers a regular corn maze if haunted corn mazes are not your cup of tea.
Hot Cocoa in the Park
Grab a hot cocoa from Ginger Elizabeths and walk to Capitol Park. What better place is there than this tree-filled oasis to see the colorful foliage?
Spend the Day in Amador
Stop by Andrae’s for the areas BEST pastries (and damn fine coffee). Then spend the rest of your day wine tasting and antique shopping nearby!

With my love of all things design and food, it was only natural for me to start a blog. I want to share with others my adventures as I travel, eat, read, photograph, and discover my way through Sacramento. As a Realtor, it’s important to me to know what’s happening in my community. And why not share that with you?
