Resources for Businesses and Consumers Pertaining to COVID-19
With Corona virus cases increasing every day it can be hard to navigate society and feel confident and safe. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has an extremely comprehensive overview for different facets of our community and how to be safe during the pandemic. I would encourage you to check out their site at www.cdc.gov/coronavirus as they have tons of resources for both businesses and consumers in order to help bring awareness and keep you and our community safe
Comprehensive Tool Kits
Workplace and Businesses– This section has a plethora of information for business owners who are currently operating or planning on resuming operations. I found the article about Resuming Business extremely helpful as it provides checklists to prepare for operations and how to make sure you are keeping your employees healthy and safe during this time. The second article I found extremely helpful was about Cleaning and Disinfecting your facility and provides and extremely comprehensive outline of how to effectively make sure you are keeping your business clean and operational.
Shared & Congregate Housing– I was so happy to see an entire section on shared and congregate housing because this time is especially scary for people who live in areas where they may have to share a laundry facility or kitchen with multiple people. It covers social distancing in your own space if you or a family member has COVID-19 as well as gives a great checklist of surfaces to make sure to be constantly cleaning like remotes, light switches, microwaves and many more.
People 15 to 21– This is such an important section because there have been trends with this specific demographic in which they tend to feel that COVID-19 cannot effect them. I was very glad to see an entire section dedicated to this segment of the population because a lot of the time we look at the elderly when COVID-19 is being discussed. There are a ton of great resources in this section covering everything from testing to going about your daily life. It does a great job of brining awareness and perspective to what is going on as well as helping build recognition that we all have to help each other in order to succeed in beating this.
Print Resources
Along with comprehensive tool kits and guides for different sectors of the community the CDC has done a great job of providing both print material and infographics that schools, business owners and other professionals can use in order to let consumers know that they are operational and implementing the proper protocols to keep both their customers and employees safe.

Spanish Resources
Not only did the CDC create tool kits, infographics and posters in English a lot of them are written in other languages including Spanish, Korean, French and more. They also have an entire tab just for resources in Spanish.
All the tool kits, infographics and posters are in Spanish and easily accessible to print and share.
