In today’s climate it is more important than ever to be constantly educating ourselves about the social issues and injustices that are happening in our communities for decades. It is important as educated consumers to seek information to educate ourselves on how to be better advocates for our neighbors and friends in order to live in a society where we can all feel free and comfortable to be who we are. In this day and age of Internet and technology ignorance is a choice, but it can be hard to find a starting point to start educating yourself so that you can have tough conversations about these issues in society. We should never cease to learn and educate ourselves about the world around us because this is the catalyst for change.
